Dan Morton★★★★El Chaparro in Lincoln is one of those true hole-in-the-wall spots that’s easy to overlook — and that’s exactly why it’s so good. We had the quesabirrias and the cinco tacos, and the food was great. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and satisfying in that “no-frills, they know what they’re doing” kind of way. If you’re in Lincoln and want a casual place with legit Mexican food (not fancy, just really good), El Chaparro is absolutely worth the stop.

Quaint little building with a small parking lot but would recommend for some good food. Forgot to get before pics but got a pic of cleared plates.

Tables were cleared and cleaned...not the case in some more expensive restaurants. Quick to greet the customer upon arrival even if they are currently working on something already. Very family oriented team. The food though, it's amazing. And so affordable. Portions are bigger than they need to be. Always need a to go container to take some home which is hard to believe for what the cost is. No complaints. Love this lil restaurant tucked away in the heart of a otherwise not so happy part of
