This Place Is "Off The Hook".... My Wife & I Were On The Asbury Park Boardwalk (NJ)... We Browsed Several Eateries... We Even Sat Down At One, However I Just Wasn't Feeling It!!! We Looked Online & Found ROONEY'S... When We Arrived I Was Immediately "BLOWN AWAY"..... ROONEY'S Sits On The Long Branch, NJ Boardwalk W/ A Beautiful Oceanfront View... It's An Upscale Restaurant Inside & Out.... There Is On Street Or Valet Parking... We Chose Valet... Upon Entering Rooney's One Realizes This Is A "First Class" Establishment!!! It's Beautiful.... This restaurant is literally located on the beachfront and we had an exceptional view of the ocean and beach this 4th of July. The Summer breeze was mesmerizing and perfect. The staff is welcoming and the service was also outstanding. Lively ambiance throughout the restaurant. Food was amazing and almost as perfect as the ambiance. Clam chowder was amazing and flavorful but on the smaller size. There were a decent amount of clams but not an impressive amount. Maybe a larger option would be a good addition. The dancing shrimp were tasty and the ginger sauce complemented it well. Rice cak

Delicious! Definitely delivered the vibes. Espresso martini was amazing and they made is creamy with baileys just how I like it! Brunch menu is fresh and delicious. There is outdoor seating with an ocean view, and indoor air conditioned seating with plenty of windows with the outdoor feel

Went for a Mother's Day brunch buffet. Food was awesome. My favorite was Crab Benedict. Generous portion of fresh, juicy crab meat. Perfectly cooked eggs and the base was unique: sweet and fluffy cornbread 👌🏻 instead of the usual english muffin. Oyster was also very fresh 🦪, freshly shucked. Our server was Mike who was very attentive and made the whole experience a pleasant one. We were warmly greeted by the owner also. It's always a good sign when the restaurant's owner himself came to check on us 🙂
