We had such a lovely brunch experience at Gardenia. We arrived around 9 AM before the brunch menu opened, but enjoyed coffee while exploring the beautiful space until 9:30. The restaurant is absolutely gorgeous with a lush open concept, stylish decor, cozy seating areas, spotless bathrooms, and an incredible outdoor patio with a fountain our toddler loved. Happened by this lovely restaurant in an old victorian home in downtown Los Gatos on a sunny, cool Sunday morning. I chose to sit in the garden near a fire pit. It was quieter and more intimate than indoors which buzzes with groups chatting. It was close to noon so I ordered the roast beef sandwich french dip. The beef was quite tender and came with a tangy dijonnaise sauce on the side. Very satisfying and large. I took half home. My friend enjoyed the vegetarian omelet. Cappuccino was good and the service reasonably attentive and friendly. Prices were average for this area. Definitely worth a

I was really looking forward to having a birthday brunch here, but unfortunately the experience fell short. For the location and price point, the service was disappointing. Our server didn't check on us, didn’t refill our drinks, and wasn’t friendly — the interaction felt very dry. The table setup was also uncomfortable, with the tabletop so low and close that we had to hunch over the entire meal. I ordered the Gardenia French Omelette which was ok, but the country potatoes were hard and undercooked. My mother ordered a simple two‑egg breakfast, and we shared what I believe was the Pain Perdu
