I visited because of the overall positive reviews on this site. I thought the food was OK. I ordered the lunch special with sweet and sour pork. I liked the fried rice and egg blossom soup. I also ordered sweet and sour pork to go. It was OK. Kind of tough. I noticed several customers ordered large bowls of soup. Several customers seemed to be regulars. This is my third time here and the quality of the food and service have been excellent every time. I’ve come during dinner rushes, and also during slower periods and it’s been such a pleasure every time. My favorite order is definitely the Village Chop Suey over chow mien. It’s loaded with delicious veggies, chicken, pork, shrimp, and a savory sauce all atop noodles. I love their house made chili oil so I was recommended to try the dish made medium spicy today and there’s no going back for me now. The food and pricing are great, it's a small restaurant with amazing food, love there cashew shrimp taste so fresh and sweet. For the price it's worth it very affordable and yet filling and satisfying. Love their food always great portions. It was a symphony of flavors and spices. What a goldmine find lol! Stumbled across this place randomly during a long drive from Yosemite to San Francisco! We love a Chinese and the food here is delicious, it’s crazy cheap compared to our prices in the UK lol, fantastic options and very friendly staff! Highly recommend the lunch option - you get sooooo much for your money! Big portions - the noodles were just fab and the soup no idea what that was lol but it was so good and light on the stomach!
