Coming into Marigold Kitchen, the atmosphere is very cafe-adjacent. It has a welcoming feel to it with some beautiful, sunny art on the walls. If it wasn't for the short line in front of us, we may not have noticed that you order at the counter prior to finding a seat, but at least there were enough seats available for when we did order! The wait was pretty short, too, maybe about 5 minutes. We arrived a bit after 9 AM on a Monday, if that helps with how busy the place is (and it was busy). Marigolds was a great breakfast / brunch place. It was a beautiful day in Madison so I appreciated they had outdoor seating. Their outdoor setup is very quaint. It was nice sitting outside with one of their lattes and to feel the sun and breeze. I went indoors for a moment and it’s beautifully decorated. Very nice and pretty environment which we enjoyed. Unique food options that were pretty good. I would say it is on the more expensive side as we spent $40 on breakfast alone with a short stack of pancakes, two sausage links, and my husbands meal, and one orange juice. The workers seemed nice enough but didn’t really talk to us much. Just to take our order and drop it at our table.
