I love Haitian food coming from Florida, So this was the first place I stopped, the Groit was fine I was a disappointed that they used onions as their pikilez, I still met some great people tho, and would definitely go back to try something else

I visited this restaurant for the first time and was very hungry, looking forward to enjoying a good meal. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed. I do want to mention that the gentleman at the register was friendly and provided good customer service. However, the restaurant itself looked run-down and was not very inviting. I ordered the legume with pork, and the pork had no seasoning, salt, or flavor. They had run out of white rice, so I ordered the black rice instead. Listen this food is amazing the rice is delicious. The goat is tender in sauce, the grio is crispy the chicken is what chicken is supposed to do. The creole sauce and the pickles are on point. If we are taking about food only the conversation is a 10 forget being a 5. When you enter this place you have to put aside the way it looks the fish tank that's a bit dirty. The chairs with slashed holes the tables that are chipped looking the wall with the mirrors with paint on them..the closed of stairs with chairs stacked up. The sad random grass wall. That’s why I hate Haitian restaurants. Not the food but the people who works there. There’s no customer service, no respect for customers. I just called on the phone hoping they are open since today is a holiday. This young lady answer didn’t say anything, so i said hello I was hoping you’re open obviously you are open right ? She didn’t say nothing, I ask a second time she said to me “ hold on “ after a maybe 5 or 6 seconds she hang up on me.
