My mouth is watering just recalling this meal from weeks ago. It was absolutely amazing! I really think any item on the menu would have been equally delicious based on the photos and descriptions and the food being served to the tables around us. Warm and cozy interior. The service was extremely fast. I went solo but server was always attentive to me. Highly recommend lamb shank moguhli - it was fatty, the roasted egg gave it a nutty flavor. Try it with carrot and raisins rice, it gives it a spicy and sweet flavor profile.

5/5 experience when dining in, but 2/5 stars specifically for takeout. Compared to dining in, takeout portions are miniscule, maybe 50-70% smaller on both the protein and the vegetables or sauce. Flavors are still decent, but textures felt off. One of my favorite dishes is the lamb moghuli, which comes on top of a spicy tomato-based sauce. On a takeout order, the lamb shank was significantly smaller than I've had on the many times I've dined in, and there was barely any sauce.

Ordered the lamb shank with rice and the Shinwari karahi. The lamb shank kabuli pulao was really good, but the Shinwari karahi was a major disappointment. It tasted nothing like authentic Shinwari to me, and I would rate it 1/10. I’m saying that respectfully, but this was the worst Shinwari I’ve ever had. I think it should honestly be renamed, because it does not seem to match what Shinwari is supposed to be.
