The service was good. Employee's were friendly. Restaurant was very clean, and was very relaxing atmosphere. Nice place to go have a relaxing dinner with the family. The only thing I have negative to say about it is. The portions sizes for a to go order are pretty much or less than adequate for the price you pay. $21.00 for a sandwich and 2 sides and a very small drink. Could go to burger king and get a bigger meal. Don't get me wrong the food was excellent. Very thing about the place is 5 star rating. But the portions is the only thing I came away disappointed with.

I was recommended Mission BBQ ehile working in Evansville several years ago. I like BBQ so I tried it out. I believe on that visit the black plate special was a blackened ribeye, and since I was doing Keto, that was the obvious choice for lunch. I've been hoping to encounter that ribeye again, not sure if it's seasonal. Mission BBQ has become my default stop in Evansville almost to a fault of not trying out other places in the area. I visited from Texas first time in Evansville The food was amazing, but we caught my attention was how welcoming the host Amber was. She immediately gave me small samples to select my meat. She was very hands-on quick and polite. The food itself was amazing. I got the brisket sandwich and I couldn’t even finish it because they gave me so much meat with the side of collard greens and mac & cheese for about nine dollars.
