We ordered the greek burger with a half slab of ribs and let me tell you that was some of the best food I've ever had. Alex's Tavern is for sure somewhere we're stopping at everytime we come through Memphis. The feel of the place is very nostalgic and seemed chill. (We did go on a sunday night so im sure it gets busier since it is a bar). If you're looking for old school dive bar and amazing food this is the place for you.

Alex's Tavern might be my favorite place to watch sports. It's the place to go for the NCAA Tournament when you have games for hours the first weekend. Must try the Greek Burger and the Wings! Also they've got shuffleboard - so good.
