Excellent BBQ pork and ribs! We loved the bbq sauce. The half slab of ribs was so meaty I had to cut them apart at the thick end, but also tender enough to fall off the bone. The pork sandwich was a generous portion and you could sauce to taste. We enjoyed the seasoned fries. They staff were very friendly. The facility itself was well worn, but functional.

I lived in Memphis about 30 years ago. One thing I always missed was the BBQ, especially the pulled pork. On my first visit back in 30 years, I couldn't wait to have some good authentic Memphis BBQ. Well let me tell you, this isn't the place. I can't believe that probably the worst pulled pork I've ever had was in the home of pork BBQ, Memphis. Disappointment doesn't begin to describe how bad this pulled pork was. The meat was dry, without flavor. It had the consistency of meat that had been boiled and then left to get cold. We went in excited got the ribs. They were not edible. The meat tasted off and we knew we were probably end up sick if we kept eating. Ended up, taking our food to go threw that straight in the trashcan and went and got some better food. Avoid at all cost.

Mimi was amazing!!! I’m a Memphis bar hopper and Beale Street is my favorite place on the planet. When you walk in you hear “Welcome to the Pig!” Which is the most Memphis line you could ever hear just love it. Most Tender pork I’ve ever had. Great meal portions. Beer is cold and fast. Thank you for keeping the spirit of Memphis and Classic Beale alive. The Pig is like a Time Machine to a better time. Will be back 1000 times!
