Ordered just a cheesecake cup (which you grab out of a fridge on the side) and an order of cheese curds. I ordered right after my dad and several orders ahead of my sister. My dad got his food about 15 minutes before my sister did (still before me) and then I finally went up to find out where my cheese curds were. They claimed that they hadn't gotten my order tag yet (don't know how that happens when I ordered several orders ahead of my sister and got way less food) and then quickly threw an order of the cheese curds into a bag for me. I used to really enjoy Moochies but this last time the food tasted bad, the peppers tasted like they were canned and were very bitter. The meat was tough and full of gristle. It wasnt just my sandwich but my two kids and my wifes as well. The cheese wasnt melted and there wasnt very much andMy wifes sandwich was mainly onion. I haven't eaten here for a couple years but the difference is night and day.

Moochie’s Cheesesteaks is always a hit. The cheesesteaks are incredibly tasty. We also had the Italian, chicken parm, and the pastrami. We added fried ravioli and fried pickles for some starters. The bread is always perfect! In the past we’ve had the meatball and atomic meatball sandwiches……best meatball sandwich I’ve ever had! We’ll be back!

This is one of the best sandwich spots in Salt Lake City. A plethora of options (hot & cold) and none of them disappoint. My personal favorite is the Reuben with added mushrooms, but the meatball and the (cold) Italian are my other "standby" options. Their jalapeño sauce goes with every sandwich they make, so if you're not eating on-site, get some to go. Staff are almost always friendly, and you don't have to wait long for your order, regardless of the time.
