The food was really good, especially the coconut shrimp, which was exceptional. The texture was unique and something I haven’t experienced anywhere else. The salmon was decent too, and the mango chili sauce made it stand out since I haven’t had that flavor combination before. The only downside was the atmosphere—it felt very old, and we could see holes in the walls. Overall, great food, but the place could definitely use some improvement in ambiance.

Randomly found Cubanitas while I was out here for work. I was missing home so ordered them for delivery and I was not disappointed! I ordered a variety of things including the Vaca frita bowl, tortilla de cayo hueso, and the plantain sampler platter with guac. What a great meal! Would definitely recommend this spot

Cubanitas takes you back in time to Cuba, when it took time to make an authentic Ropa Vieja. The flavors are well balanced and presentation is superb. No matter if you are a fan of yellow or white rice or black or red beans, they got it all. Definitely try the plantain chips with guacamole. Highly recommended options are sandwiches, after you try entrees of course.

Cubanitas is an excellent choice for anyone in the downtown Milwaukee area. This Cuban-themed restaurant has excellent service and delicious food. It is located in a great location downtown, within walking distance the river. One perk to this place is they are open for lunch and dinner, unlike many nearby restaurants which are only open for dinner. Cubanitas has a wide selection of Cuban-themed sandwiches, salads, bowls, and entrees. Vegan/vegetarian options are also available. We tried the Cuban pork sandwich and the veggie Havana bowl which were both flavorful and filling! The ambiance of th
