This place is crushing it in every way. Dillon, the part owner was a totally cool guy with chill vibes and his dad (other co-owner) was probably the nicest guy I’ve ever met. I really like how they combined traditional Indian decor with modernity, like MF Doom tapestry and vinyls alongside gilded gold statues. It felt like it was a more hip take on a classic Indian restaurant. We were told this place had amazing butter chicken and was so good so we placed an order for takeout. We got butter chicken, and Momo chicken. The momo was phenomenal, but the butter chicken was probably the worst butter chicken I’ve had we didn’t even finish it. I guess if you’re Minnesota I don’t like any kind of flavor seasoning it would be great.. There was absolutely no seasoning or taste. I ordered butter chicken, mild plus. We were super excited to try this place, but it’s definitely one and done.

I ordered take out from here last week which included Chicken Tika Masala, Butter Chicken, Garlic Nan, and a side of the mint(?) chutney. I've been going to Dancing Ganesha for a long time which is not far from this establishment but wanted to try a new place so I gave it a shot, and it definitely missed the mark for me for many reasons. The price: My biggest issue is what happened with how they charged me. The total came to just shy of $50.00. When the man working told me my total upon picking up my food I knew this sounded high. Super peaceful ambiance, great food. I ordered the Alo Phing-Sha (“Beef Potato Bean” at a medium spice level and it was excellent. The garlic naan and iced chai are also very good. Note - the buffet referenced in some reviews has not existed since COVID and ownership changed hands around that time from what I understand. The current owner is great - very friendly, entertaining guy. Pricing-wise, most entree items are $18.99 as of 03/2026.
