I’m admittedly not the biggest fan of Better Buzz, but this location was honestly a bit worse than several of the others I’ve been to. The drive-thru line has an unconventional set up, they have really big rushes, and the customer service is fair-to-middling. I went in a Saturday around noon and about 15 people arrived at the same time as me. I recently visited Better Buzz Coffee Mira Mesa, and it was a really enjoyable coffee experience from start to finish. The café has a bright, modern, and energetic vibe that immediately makes you feel welcome. I've ordered from this location multiple times. Unfortunately, the quality of food here has gone way down in the last several months. Today I ordered avocado toast and turkey panini. My avocado toast was burnt to the point where the crust was so hard that it was inedible and had to be cut off, and the mashed avocado was not mixed well, with an entire half of the toast coated in a dark, oxygenated avocado that implied it was left for an extended period out in the open before being given to me.
