I absolutely love this cafe!! They open early and close at 6pm, which is later than most cafes in the city. Their coffee is always amazing, the food hits every time, and I love the choice to sit either inside or outside. PLUS there's outlets and free Wi-Fi that's fast and has never given me connectivity issues. I'd say the only downside is the seats fill up pretty quickly after 11am, and people tend to just stay and work on their laptops for a few hours (including myself). 90% of the people here are working on a laptop, so the atmosphere is pretty chill with music always playing in the backgro

Disappointed and embarrassed is how I would describe my experience at Atlas Cafe. As someone with a gluten allergy it’s hard to even find places that offer GF options, let alone good GF options. I have been to Atlas Cafe before and loved the sandwich I had previously. I loved it so much so that I brought my family back to join me this time. I absolutely love this place. Great food, great staff, great dining space. I've been coming here for almost 20 years. I do get frustrated that some of the staff is completely oblivious when there is no music playing. Some of the staff picks such good music that it's so sorely missed when the later shifts forget to play any.

This is my favorite cafe in San Francisco— the food is delicious and it has a great no-frills atmosphere. Whether you are vegetarian or not, you have to try the beetloaf— I’ve never had another sandwich like it. They also have a nice outdoor seating area and on Thursday/Friday nights they have jazz bands come in.
