China Inn Buffet

My grandson chose China Inn for his birthday lunch. The food is very tasty and eye appealing. The peanut chicken and Mongolian beef are among my favorites. The buffet is smaller than most Chinese buffets but here it is quality instead of quantity. The restaurant itself is an older building and is reminiscent of old school cafeteria dining.

For $12 for lunch, I just thought when I walked in there would might be four tables of food and there's only two short tables of food. And I guess maybe it's just because I'm used to Florida. Florida has like four or five large tables of food and all kinds of shrimp dishes and this one only had one shrimp and not much of a variety I thought. But the food was good just not a lot of variety. They didn't even have wonton soup

Nice people work here. Prices are fair. Most items are at the temperature they should be, and most items are very good. Of course there are odd items I'd never eat, but overall, they do an excellent job. Most buffets are awful. China Inn is well above average!

I ordered the chow mein for delivery. Tipped my driver very well. My soup is like water and my chow-mein has no noodles… The lady on the phone was rude and kept telling me chow mein doesn’t have noodles. I told her even on the menu it says noodles and everywhere I’ve ever ordered chow mein its noodles. It translates to noodles… So I have mushy onions and shrimp with snow peas in a white sauce… the egg drop soup is disappointing and I feel like it’s hard to mess up that. I was trying to be calm and nice and just let her know they didn’t put noodles and she didn’t offer even a partial refund or
