This is a gem. Small hole in the wall place making great northern Chinese pastries , especially the Tianjin Baozi of different flavors. We normally order 3 orders of different flavor of Tianjin Baozi to go. The sesame butter cake (芝麻酱烧饼) is the only authentic one I can find in Los Angeles. Frankly all the other pastries are quite good. The only drawback is its small size and outdated interior. So go for the food, not the ambiance.

Really really REALLY like they open at 6:30 am Really hate a store refuses to provide recipe and take the changes without asking (that's basically stealing or robbery). signs of credit card but the cashier told me cash only. I accidently discover this restaurant this morning. The service is generally bad per mainland china's culture, so no need to fuss about it. The server tried to upsale their famous items but unfortunately none of them suits my need.
