Stopped in because of the reviews and the menu. I ordered the steak salad and it was delicious. I got it with the chipotle vinaigrette and highly recommend. The steak container was close to empty and instead of going to fill it the clerk just gave me the remaining scraps. After ordering my salad the clerk who was helping starting cleaning up the counters cleaning debris and various salad ingredients from the shelves. After she was finished cleaning she started on another salad with the same gloves she used to clean. As for the atmosphere the air conditioning was off and it was hotter inside th

I came to Washington DC on a business trip , was looking for something to eat ,CHOPT was a familiar spot I frequent regularly in NYC so I stopped at this location to order my regular kale Caesar , I told the young lady I wanted to make my own salad add some extra condiments etc. she rolled her eyes as if it was a problem. UPDATE 6/2/25: Another dry salad. UPDATE 12/13/24: I once again received a salad without dressing. This has become a recurring issue. I order from this location approximately once a week. While the food quality can be good, there is a clear and consistent issue with online orders (Uber Eats, etc.). Portions ordered online are noticeably smaller than when ordering in person — fewer greens, fewer toppings, and occasionally missing items — yet the price remains the same. I have received salads without dressing multiple times, including a replacement order that was still incorrect. Repeated err
