A huge THANK YOU to the staff of Gatos and Beans! We booked them for our friend’s 40th birthday, and they really went above and beyond for us! They called the day of, to let us know of the decorations they had provided and to see if there was anything else they could do to accommodate us. We were welcomed with generous hospitality, given kitty ears, and the best hot chocolate I’ve had in years! They brought out all the toys and various treats, and the cats of course were the stars of the show! Such loving little kitties full of personalities!! While with my family on way to Birmingham Airport we decided to stop for breakfast before catching our flights home. While driving around we spotted Gatos & Beans a quick Google of the business revealed it to be a Kitty Cafe. All of us are animal lovers so of course we stopped. We all hoped to get a bite to eat, a cup of coffee and play with some new furry friends. Gatos & Beans is a wonderful haven for cats. f you love cats, you must go! The person who walked us through the experience was so kind and cute—loved her! It’s $15 to go into the cat room, which helps keep the place open. It’s such a good thing for these cats to be able to socialize with each other and with people, and it also gives them a chance to be adopted. The cost is more than worth it. It even comes with a drink, unless you want something more special. My coffee was good—not Starbucks-level good, but I really enjoyed it. We live two hours away, but sometimes you just need a little escape, and what’s better than spending time with
