I was a little apprehensive to eat here because it’s the off season so the place was pretty empty. However, I would even say that added to my experience. The staff is great, super friendly, welcoming and helpful. The food was without flaw, a lot of unique menu options I always appreciate. They have a senior menu which is just adorable and a great idea. Nothing like a wide variety of ice cream too! I hope other people staying at Myrtle will give Friendly’s a chance. When I entered the restaurant, Janee greeted me with a smile and eye contact. She then offered assistance. I told Janee that I would like to order a Hunka Chunka Peanut Butter Sundae BOGO. Janee smiled at me, and professionally and quickly created my sundaes. She then asked if I required anything else, to which I did not. Janee then totaled my order and accepted payment. She then thanked me for stopping by and wished me a good morning. When I got home, the sundaes were still cold and the taste was delicious. Janee’s customer service was excellent. Coming back very soon that one meal with the turkey wrap i was full 2 days .... saved me money lol.... lovely nice staff. The manager that was training more than one at the same time of running a business as well as helping serve no stress but pure beauty was her name and thats all she wrote. Good diner style food. Staff lives up to the name. Burger fries and you get a free Sunday. They do serve beer and a limited amount of mixed drinks for those that would like to partake.
