This is a nice, eclectic cafe with an extensive menu. It is a quiet space to read, study, play board games, sit and chime with friends. Although I haven't attended one, I do see advertisements for open mic nights. I love the coffee, particularly the Brazil Lua Azul with oat milk. It has a nice, smooth taste. My husband loves the Serenity - Lemonade with Lavender drink. Each time I visit, customer service has always be welcoming.

Rook Cafe is fantastic. Maddy is a great barista, recommended a delicious latte called The Pawn, and was able to accommodate my needs and make it less sweet. The cafe is comfortable and there is all kinds of amazing art on the walls. Also, they open nice and early which REALLY made my morning. I HIGHLY recommend Rook 💜

Absolutely lovely place. The aesthetics are fantastic and totally unique. I loved how quiet it was and all the decorations all over the place. Drinks were really good, almost everything was perfect. I am giving it 4/5 because service definitely fell short. I don’t ever judge, because you never know if someone was having a rough day, but the barista seemed really bothered by clients, even though the place was almost empty. Other than that, really good place.

Absolutely love the Rook Cafe! It’s a hidden gem on Freret Street with nothing but good vibes. Service is friendly and excellent. I love the ample syrup choices and the house made beverage concoctions. The art on the walls is all local and all for sale 👀. Love doing my school work at the Rook!
