Small Mart is my favorite place to eat in New Orleans. The owner and all the staff are absolutely lovely, kind humans who make all feel welcome and create a place that always feels good to be. We're vegan and have so many options, it's fantastic. But there are plenty of non- vegan options as well. The vegan veggie cream cheese on a toasted everything bagel will blow your mind! The tofu and spinach bagel is fresh, simple and super tasty. And the pakora poboy is just absolutely not to be missed. (Served after 12p). Really loved this place, it is a small traditional spot, went for breakfast for the bagels. They had vegan options and got a tofu, avocado and vegan cream cheese it was really good and filling! Would recommend and the coffee from inside the place is good too and they have oat and other plant milks. Vegan friendly, I’ll be back!

Small Mart made for a cozy little breakfast stop. It’s all vegan—so not my usual go-to—but it definitely did the trick. I had the garlic bagel with cream cheese and a latte, and it all hit the spot. If you’re nearby, it’s a great place to grab a quick and satisfying bite in the morning.

Can’t recommend enough. Great folks, lots of locals, and delish food with plenty of vegan options! One of the things I miss most since going vegan is eggs/breakfast sandwiches — and their VEGAN bacon/egg/cheese bagel is 100% believable and delicious!! Also fab coffee shop inside (Pond), who made me the perfect oat cappuccinos two days in a row. Not too heavy (from non-foamed milk), no burnt bean flavors, and nice tasting oat milk. These two places together make this a locals gem. Give ‘em a try!! 😻
