Been here 3 times in the past couple weeks (adding fish back into my diet) and never left hungry. They provide hush puppies, coleslaw and beans/ham for the table. High reviews for all dishes! So far my party has tried the catfish, fried chicken, tilapia and trout. The service here is so friendly and attentive. If you’re looking down a place with that old school home town feeling and good food, this is it.

This was our first time visiting Jumpin Catfish Restaurant, and it turned out to be a wonderful experience. We came for the all-you-can-eat crab legs, and they did not disappoint—fresh, flavorful, and served hot every time we requested more. One thing we especially loved was how they brought out complimentary sides of hush puppies, coleslaw, and beans as soon as we sat down. Went to the one in Lee Summit and it was worth the drive. About 40 mins hoping it was not going to be a waste of time. Excellent food, enormous portions and did not leave hungry. Laid back atmosphere, very comfortable. Definitely a go to place.

I ordered food to go. I am from the south so I expected when I ordered catfish it would be juicy and flavorful instead this was Overly cooked, the clams were horrible. The hush puppies were very, very dry and tasted about three days old. The only thing that I will say was good was the coleslaw and the mashed potatoes otherwise, I would give this no stars and the tartar sauce was extremely salty not of tartar at all.
