I came in about 1400 (2 PM) and ordered the Tuscan Grilled Ribeye with the Marsala Wine Sauce and Grilled Mushrooms. I also ordered the Sauteed Spinach with Garlic and the Garlic Mashed Potatoes. I ate some of the Bread and the Olive Oil too. And I drank the Water. It's been 4 or 5 hours since I ate my food, and now I have diarrhea, stomach cramps, my head hurts. I almost didn't make it to the bathroom 10 feet from my living room couch! Our order total was $62.90 I paid $83 cash. If you're looking for a genuinely good Italian restaurant with stellar bread and probably the best Caesar salad I've had outside of Italy and creative, flavorful dishes with pasta made almost exactly perfectly here in Orem, Utah, then you have founded at Carrabba's. Ordered drinks from the poor selection of available drinks and waited about 15 minutes. Then was told my beverage wasn't available so I ordered a different one and waited 10 more minutes for it. Water glass was empty for quite some time. Oh and the drink I ordered was a beer that came in a bottle. Not sure how it took 25 minutes to bring out a beer from the fridge? The food was horrible. Seriously tasted like it came from a frozen bag. Went with an expensive steak ordered medium rare... it came out very well done and looked and tasted like meatloaf. This place is interesting. The most succinct way I could describe it is: not with the price of admission. There’s higher priced food out there, like this isn’t necessarily obscene. But it’s just not very exciting food. Even if it were like 50% cheaper I think I’d be hard pressed to go. It tasted good but not great. (My biggest issues are that I legitimately could not taste the chicken in the Alfredo or the lobster in the ravioli. Sauces were pretty good though).
