Always dependable and delicious! We’ve been coming here to eat as locals for years. You know what you’re getting every time. Large portions, great service, and food so pretty you almost don’t want to eat it! This visit we had Cobb salad and tuna melt w/fries, a soda and hot tea…came to just under $50. Seems high but portion sizes are unheard of these days! And presentation is everything at this spot. We love the local and familiar faces each visit. Thnx Margie’s crew!

GET THE FRESH ORANGE JUICE: One sip of the orange juice and I was instantly transported back to the time I was traveling in Europe and bit into an orange. The orange so vibrant and fresh was unlike any orange I have ever tasted. As if I was drinking from a well of a tangy delight. But anyway, I digress. Just get the orange juice. lol. Oh the waiter KNOWS the menu. Chilaquiles were amazing and our whole table ordered their own variation of them and we all had high praises. I have been sick since eating here TWO WEEKS AGO. The orange juice was rotten. The potatoes were raw and burnt at the same time. I barely ate. That night at like 11 pm I threw up. Continued to throw up all night. I haven’t been better. I have to go to the doctor. I have LITERALLY BEEN SICK FOR A FEW WEEKS😭 update I went to the er and had a fever. Still sick. They cursed that food. A month now of being sick since eating the food here.

Margie’s Diner is our go-to breakfast spot in Paso Robles. Every time we’re in town, we make a point to eat here because it’s always consistent and delicious also the ambiance is great. Service is fast and attentive, the menu has plenty of great options, and the fresh orange juice is a must. Parking is easy too, there’s always space available. A great way to start the day.
