If you want dominican mom food, this place is it. The Pastelon 🔥🔥🔥 I had the Pernil with arroz morro, which was all fresh. (I genuinely saw someone bring out a fresh tray of food for the buffet) The ladies are extremely lovely, and the atmosphere is very homey and family-oriented. Don't anticipate a NYC fine dining setting; it's a typical restaurant with nothing special about the interior architecture, but their playlist was fire (if you're not a stick in the mud). Dont expect NYC fine dining atmosphere, its a regular spot, nothing grand about the interior design, but their playlist was fire (if youre no stick in the mud) The portion i was served was enough to split for two, and i spent 25$ for pernil w/ rice and a nice slice of pastelon and a red country club soda.. i think their prices are very very affordable for quality food. I left a 7$ tip because im a decent human being who appreciates workers like these. Overall 9/10

I don’t usually do negative reviews but I’ve ordered hours before my lunch break and still never received my food after getting on lunch break. Every time I called she would say they’re on the way and never showed 0/10 and never will I order here again. Bad service!

Everything I ordered from the Sancocho, to the pernil and moro! Omg SO GOOD and the packaging was also done thoughtfully, the fried food had holes in it so that it would steam out and not get it soggy. I can not wait to order from here again! Super authentic.
