My wife and I have been going to this location for several years, (there was a period where they did not keep their peanuts fresh and we would drive extra distance to another location) The burgers and fries have always been top notch, but the other evening my wife brought to the attention of the cooks / manager about the lettuce, (which was the white core part of lettuce) and she also noticed several burgers being prepared which had the nice green leaf of the lettuce. Last time I was at Five Guys was probably in 2012 in a different state. Back then, it was really one of my favorite burgers and fries. Since then, I’ve had hundred of burgers and the competition is tough. So where do they stand now? The burger… was actually pretty good! The meat was super tasty and the toppings were all fresh. It has been more than a year since we last tried Five Guys and that was in another state and after paying $20 for a Cheeseburger and regular fries and still being asked for a tip even though no service was provided other than taking my order and cooking the food and putting it in a bag so I could carry it to a table and eat the food from the bag. I served myself with ketchup, salt and a plastic knife and fork. It's no longer good value for money.
