We were in Oakland for a tour of the Nationality rooms and afterwards needed lunch. Looked on google and this place was just a 7 minute walk. We were greeted and sat down straightaway, our waitress took our orders and the dood came out wthin 20 minutes. The turkey devonshire and pittsburgh salad were very good. The place is modern with a great vibe, good service and tasty food. If in the area try this place.

My wife had the Turkey Devonshire I thought the turkey was a little rubbery. The cheese sauce was very good. I had the grilled salmon with vegetables. The salmon was very good i thought that the mixed vegetables had way too many onions. Overall the food was very good the portion size was decent. A very busy atmosphere but our serve was on point and attentive. We also had the hummus appetizer which I thought was very good. It came with a small Greek salad along with the hummus.

This place is a must to dine. The food was delicious and the fries were amazing. Some type of battered or seasoned fries that were crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. The french onion soup was phenomenal. Portions are very generous. Would definitely come back. We ordered a tuna melt, a fish sandwich, a Reuben sandwich, the chicken tender platter, two French onion soups and 3 drinks. Total was about $130 with tip.

Good food at decent prices. French onion soup and Turkey Devonshire are my go to's. Sat at the bar. Too much bright white everywhere. I don't like the ambiance since the renovation. Anyways, the male bartender was great. Very attentive and polite. The others....not so much, but not terrible.

I absolutely love their chicken tenders, my cousin come here and get the “Chicken On Chicken” were we order chicken tender apps and dinner. Its that good! 😌 As of late they released a new order called Firecracker shrimps, they are jumbo shrimp and theyre super tasty the first time I had them. However its been a month since and now the sauce they use tastes a lot more salty for a sweet chilli sauce. When your sauce is more salty than sweet its simply a chilli. For the Firecracker shrimp I highly recommend putting the sauce on the side of the dish rather ON the dish itself. Mainly because if you do the latter, it makes the whole meal soggy as well as the lettuce. However with the sauce on the side it would make the sauce more controllable for each person who ate it. Making it more fun finger food than a sticky mess. I really like what the main chef usually makes so I hope this sticks on the menu.
