Really good aburi sushi. Fining aburi style sushi is difficult as not too many places do it or if they do it's just avg but this place the Aburi sushi was bomb and the quality of the salmon was really good. I'll def. Be back. Also, high recommend the Tuna poke. It was the best thing on the menu followed by the aburi (seared salmon sushi and seared salmon Sashimi). The price is high compared to other sushi places in the area.

Deciding what to order is the BIGGEST challenge. They have a huge selection of rolls, several with funny or odd names. The Anaconda roll doesn't contain anaconda, darnit! The scallop shichimi and Chef's Special were beautifully plated and delicious. I enjoyed my food and time there. The advertise BYOB. I shall return to try more and bring a bottle of wine to enjoy.

Simply awesome! We had an excellent experience here! We tried 4 rolls which was about 1 roll to many for us considering they brought us a couple samples to try. We really enjoyed the Chop Roll and the Las Vegas! The volcano was really good too. Unfortunately I don’t remember the name of the 4th roll, but it was our least favorite. They brought us 2 samples, one of which was the Cool Hawaiian roll which I will be ordering next time! I think it was my favorite taste of the evening! Service was excellent and friendly. Place was clean and well lit. Looking forward to coming back!

WOW! This place is amazing! The size of the rolls and nigiri (sushi) is big, the tempura and other cooked foods are so good, the quality is top tier, and the staff are so nice! Will most definitely be back again with different friends so I could eat here multiple times 🥰😋 Totally worth the drive out here even if you don't live in Plano!

We visited Umi Umi during a trip to Dallas for a baseball tournament, looking for a great sushi spot after our original plan fell through. We were blown away by the quality of their rolls! The flavors were fresh, creative, and absolutely delicious. The service was fantastic, and the atmosphere made our dining experience even better. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town. Highly recommend!
