Bought a $25 voucher to support a local volleyball team and decided to finally use it today. Unfortunately, this was our first time trying Poor Richards Pizza and most likely our last. I picked it up on my way home from clinical and was excited to finally try it so the my family but we were really disappointed with what we received! I’m honestly surprised after reading so many good reviews, because our pizza didn’t live up to the hype at all (see attached photos). My family and I arrived around 11:00 a.m. and waited outside in the heat until the restaurant opened at 11:15 a.m. When the door was unlocked, the employee working didn’t greet us or open the door for us, even though we were standing right there. She simply unlocked it and walked away. Throughout our visit, she seemed irritated and was not very welcoming. When my family and I asked for things, her attitude made us feel like we were inconveniencing her. It’s possible she was having a bad day, and everyone has those, but customers shouldn’t feel like they’re being treated poorly because of it.

I stopped by not knowing what to expect, and I was pleasantly surprised. The whole place gave off a really cool vibe, lots of cool memorabilia on the walls and plenty of TVs. Love the old school feel of the place with exposed brick wall and vintage wooden tables and chairs. I ordered a medium combination pizza with a side of wings and tots. The pizza crust is thin and crispy. I spent about $45, which is not bad if compared to other pizza places.
