Schastea is one of my favorite places to eat, drink and just be in Providence. It seems to be vastly underestimated, maybe because there’s some trendier places down the street which is a shame. This is the longest tea menu I’ve found in the city and everything I’ve tried is delightful. Their matcha is vibrant green (they don’t skimp) and full flavored. They make a killer chai too. Can’t decide if I crave their hojicha or their genmaicha more on a rainy day. All the crepes can be made gluten free (yay) and are delicious. Don’t miss out! Stopped by for a cozy place to work. Enjoyed the outdoor seating, and they have more quiet places to sit near the back of the restaurant. I tried the salmon and egg sandwich and enjoyed it. Very welcoming and friendly vibe.

Great study space and their mocha lattes have an added cinnamon / other spices to give it a nice warmth! I only tried one of their sandwiches and I wasn’t the craziest about it, but it was nice. Espresso could also be stronger. Very friendly service!

Just what I needed ✨ beautiful fresh meze & soft warm pita. Absolutely divine rosemary infused tea & I could munch on those pickled veggies all day long. Such a lovely soft space & incredible community board 🩷 kind & helpful staff!
