After all the recommendations to try the Mongolian Beef, we were excited to try it! It had great flavor but an insane amount of onions. Maybe this is other people’s tastes but it was a surprising amount of onions and not enough beef for the price. The general tso’s was great! The chicken was still crispy even with a generous amount of sauce and the flavor was addicting. We also liked the cucumber salad, it was a nice fresh side to have with the heavier main dishes. I thought this place was average. We got take out which seems like everyone does. The place was packed with people waiting for orders but not a lot dining in. The food lacked flavor in my opinion and the noodles were just ok. The sauces were quite watery which might have attributed to the flavor. We all mildly enjoyed their food and ate leftovers but it just wasn’t my favorite Chinese food that I have had. After trying a few different schezwan places in the Triangle, this has been our favorite so far. We stopped by on a Monday night and the place was super busy with takeout orders. We were actually one of the only people dining in, which feels a shame because we had a really enjoyable time. The atmosphere is more similar to a takeout restaurant than your more upscale restaurant, but we knew that going in.
