Shawarma Time was fantastic. One of the first things I noticed was the rotating meat pillars behind the counter, which is always a great sign when you’re looking for authentic shawarma. OMG, great place! I couldn't expect the good quality in a fast food setting! if you have 2 hungry teenagers who love shawarma wraps served fancy on the wooden plate with French fries, that's the place. I love shawarma and grew up eating it most of my life outside the U.S., so I know what authentic shawarma should taste like. This is the closest flavor I’ve found in the U.S. It’s not too dry, not too juicy, just perfectly balanced. I highly recommend visiting if you want to experience real, authentic shawarma.

I visited Shawarma Time at the RTC last night and was disappointed with the vegetarian options. We ordered the Mixed Veggie plate, the Falafel plate, and a Falafel wrap. Unfortunately, there was almost no difference between the two plates aside from two small pieces of cauliflower. The salad was mostly raw, bitter cabbage rather than the lettuce described on the menu, and the wrap was served in an undercooked tortilla.
