The food was okay,wish the meat was more like everywhere but it was all centered but still it was enjoyable..now my issue was with the person at the front desk..she was wearing a septum piercing ..first i came in with my boyfriend and asked a simple question…”are the poppies big or like regular size?” reason why i asked was because in most places they are bigger than “tortilla size” if im paying 5$ i want to know if i should get 2-3 ..dont want to get 3 and they’re big and then i dont finish it ..u can’t reheat it either because it just doesnt hit the same when its freshly made …anyway she gav

I honestly wish I could write this place a better review but I’m very disappointed. I’ve been here a few times back in 2022-2023 with my Salvi friend and we both thought it was a delicious, great family owned authentic spot. I came back a few days ago for the first time since with friends and it was honestly not a good experience for any of us. They raised their prices from $4 to 5, which I’m fine with paying as it’s been a few years and it is a smaller local spot. the masa was dry and had absolutely no flavor, which I could’ve let slide but on top of that the fillings were all bland. Mmmmm delishhhh! The chicken mole one was especially realllyyy good. The spinach one was good too. They’re so nice! There’s space to sit outside, nowhere to sit inside. Two pupusas were $11 and really filling. All have cheese. All are gluten free. They also have desserts.

Very enjoyable meal at a good price. Fresh, HOT pupusas made with love in ridgewood. The staff was very nice and helpful with the options if we didn’t know what something was. All the pupusas were delicious but I recommend getting several meat options as the vegetarian ones tasted mostly the same. The flavor of cactus and blossoms is just not that strong in these pupusas. Great selection of beverages and daily specials. Will be back to try more.
