Went on Saturday (2/21/26) as group of 4 to try a new location and the experience was ok. The waitress was very good. The food opinions were mixed: the pork chop was generous portion and well seasoned; the hamburger was tasty but not hot; the Philly steak had generous portion of meat but it was not very flavorful such that I added ketchup to it; but most disappointing was that the pizza was overcooked to the point where the crust snapped like a cracker. The waitress did replace the pizza (boxed to go since it took so long to come out). I will give it another try if someone else chooses it.

This place has great food. My only gripe is that everything always seems a couple dollars higher than what seems reasonable for that specific meal. The service is always great. The food is fresh. They actually try to give you a great experience. They are friendly. They offer menu items that are fairly unique. They have specials. It’s overall a really great local restaurant that I would absolutely recommend to someone. Keep it up guys!

This had to be the worst experience I have had at an establishment in a long time. My friend and I are from SC and decided to try a dog friendly place. Everything was fine at first until a bird crapped through a hole onto the table and onto myself. My friend and I immediately moved and alerted a staff member. The staff member was quite dismissive and utterly rude. They didnt even look back and just said it was gutter water and wenr about their day. Nothing was done about and and they even still sat someone at the bird poop table without acknowledging nor cleaning it. The food was comepletely l

My wife and I were traversing the Blueridge Parkway and decided to stop for lunch in Roanoke. After consulting Reddit for recommendations we settled on The Green Goat. It was delicious. I had the Bacon Lettuce and Fried Green Tomato Sandwich and it was delicious. My wife raved about her southwest style salad. From the hostess to our waitress,to the young man delivered our food from the kitchen, the service was top notch Any one looking for a unique lunch in Roanoke I’d highly recommend.
