Just had my first visit to Lava Hot Chicken and it did not disappoint 🔥 Such a great lunch spot—portion sizes are solid for the price, and everything came out fresh and flavorful. Jason ordered the Lava #1 (2 mild strips) and I got the Lava #2 (2 hot chicken sliders). I also got some Mac and cheese. It's a cold and rainy day - no soup options so of course had to get some mac (honestly would have anyways). Came here for dinner with the family since we were in the area. First time having hot chicken and this blew it out of water. I got the #2, hot with fries and it was so much food but so worth it. The lady who took our order was so nice and helped us when we had questions! Wish we lived closer, we would come so often! Highly recommend!

It was slow when we went to eat, dont know why its so good the chicken was so fresh and fries crispy. The person which i think was the owner was super nice and helpful and also patient with us. We ordered the #1 the tenders are so big and ordered the level 3 hot it was not very spicy could probably do level 4 with ease. Everything was good, tenders was a 4 out of 5 it needed a little seasoning on the chicken, but im guessing they dont season it because the lava sauce has the flavor. Fries 5 out of 5 cooked great. This place was such a great find! Way better than Canes, Golden Chick, or Chick-fil-a. For the quality and quantity of the food, it’s well worth what you pay. The chicken is consistently juicy and cooked perfectly. I also love how the openly advertise that they fry their food in beef tallow. If you are in the area and love spicy chicken, this should be your place! It’s never super busy, which makes me sad because their food is SO GOOD!
