Cadence Galindo★★★★★This is a MUST GO for all chocolate lovers!! Firstly, they sell chocolate from all over the world in many different flavors than just your standard milk/dark chocolate! Some flavors I bought were Matcha with dried edible flowers on top, Spicy chocolate, Earl Grey flavor, and since I went on Easter they had multiple bunny themed chocolates in flavors such as lemon and mint! Secondly, I want to talk about their top notch customer service! They let my mom and I have samples of their vegan cream cheese as well as give us recommendations on their favorite menu items/combos to help us decide. I personally got a matcha coffee with rose petals on top! 10/10!!☺️🍵 I’ll be visiting again as soon as possible!
Daniel Lesnick★★★★Nice little shop with decent coffee. The real attraction is their selection of imported chocolates. There is an entire wall of chocolates. I've only tried one of the Theo & Philo chocolate bars from the Philippines, but it was really good. It was milk chocolate with coffee. Very interesting texture and a bold, complex flavor. The shop is quaint and comfortable, though a little on the small side. Prices are reasonable. I'll keep coming here occasionally since it's close to my work.
Steven Caro★★★★★This is my go-to place in Sacramento for high-end chocolate. They have chocolate from all over the world. I enjoy putting ceremonial cocoa in my coffee in the morning to create a mocha. I like the organic Cacoco 70% spicy dark drinking chocolate. One of these days I'll try their ready made chocolate drinks in the cafe.
Anna Kelly★★★★★This is an amazing vegan food and drinks. They do not have a braille menu but the customer service is amazing at explaining everything and it also has an amazing selection of history to the back story of this cafe. Love this place will absolutely visit here again.
Rebecca★★★★★Chocolate lovers unite 😉 great selection of creative drinks beyond your typical cafe fare. Had a smoothie with some espresso shots and it was divine. Shout out to Gaby for keeping a customer happy and laughing, while making yummy drinks! Will always come back while in Sacramento.
Alison M C★★★Delicious bananita chocomil ($9). Vegan empanadas ($6.95). I recommend the "beef" and onion over the spinach mushroom for a flavorful filling. The dough was a little thin and soggy, but I understand they are from an empanada shop off-site. Espresso was the most affordable item ($3) and good. Unfortunately, none of the chocolate bars or drinking chocolate are in my budget ($11.99-17.99++). Quick and friendly service. No wifi and no electrical outlets, so THIS IS NOT A WORK CAFÉ. Just making that clear for people like me that might be considering winging it on a deadline. My bad. If you wanted an espresso and a fancy treat, it would be a good spot. Some things were higher price than I expected, so I think I viewed an older menu.
Jaquelene M★★★★★Love the vibes here, the staff is so friendly! And they are happy to help with recommended items based on your preferences! I've visited a few times, I tried their Kratom Margarita, the taste is pretty unique- I'd describe it like a smokey orange peel. The energy is exactly what I needed, it is strong but there's no crash! I tried their mushroom coffee, also a unique taste- supposed to be better for you than coffee buuuuut, I don't know, I love my coffee! I also tried the latte, that wasn't as uniquely tasting, but still good! They have lots of vegan treats and oh so much chocolate! I didn't get any bars or assortments yet! Come check them out, see what sort of things you find here!
Javier Alaniz★★★★★Omg, the flavors!!! Complex, unique, a whole journey in taste. If you love chocolate, indigenous, authentic cuisine plan your trip to Sacramento around a stop here. Especially for chocolate lovers of discerning tastes. The spot is tiny, so plan a solo visit or as a couple, and budget to buy some beautiful, appropriately priced (higher end) chocolate souvenirs/gifts. On the servers recommendation I had a cardamom espresso, tamale, empanadas and a vegan cheesecake. Each of which was excellent.
