Loved this little staple on Nogalitos. This was my first time here. I've heard great things about this place and they are all true. The food was great. I had a GBC taco which is A staple in Del Rio . Bordertown Taco for the working class to get their iron and protein all in that one taco. Carne Gisada Bean and cheese is a rare in San Antonio but An ultimate favorite in Del Rio . Let me tell you the taco didn't disappoint and neither did the atmosphere or the service. I will say it gets packed so if your going , Tuesday was their slower day but it's not slow . Great overall experience. We Will

The best homemade comfort Mexican food in town. Unbelievable flavor, owner really puts time and passion into the food. Very unique menu, all sorts of dishes and flavors. Locals very friendly and owner Maria very humble and aproachable. Come early to avoid waiting in line. Celebrity sightings are comon.

This place is a hidden gem. It was listed in the NY Times in 2022 in an article called "25 Restaurant Dishes we couldn't stop thinking about this year". I also saw them on Utube.Their food is amazing. I highly recommend it. They only have 6 tables so yes it is small, but well worth it.

Maria's Café has been on a list of mine for a very long time to visit. I was recently in San Antonio and a friend suggested we go there for breakfast. I realize when we got there, I've been wanting to visit this restaurant for a long time. I ordered a single grande breakfast taco. It was so good, it's one of those meals I can't stop thinking about. Next time in San Antonio I'll be going there again. It's a very small restaurant with a very little parking, but we found street parking nearby and only had to wait a few minutes on a Saturday to get some breakfast. [Entrance is through the back doo
