The 'new' Texas T Pub is AWESOME! The new management has 'cleamed it up' (a little..it is a "Dive Bar" by definition) and made it into a world class destination that appeals to locals & tourists alike. "Keeping it Simple" translate into great drink prices you won't get in the hotels and upscale bars in the area. Staff is exceptionally friendly and live music will be mainstay here, as the new owners are deeply rooted in the regional music scene. Staying downtown, drop in! Work in the area, drop in! GREAT local bar with a long history!

If you’re looking for a real San Antonio dive bar experience, the Texas T is it! This place has everything a great dive bar should have: cold drinks, an authentic atmosphere and some of the friendliest and funniest people you’ll ever meet. We had an absolute blast. We were welcomed in as if we were regulars ourselves, and before long we laughing away with all of our new friends. This is the kind of dive bar you hope to find, but rarely do. No frills, no pretending, just good drinks, great people and San Antonio vibes. Skip the tourist traps and head straight to the Texas T!

We went to Texas T Pub and I couldn’t be more pleased. This location has changed so much over the years. New ownership that truly cares about their reputation and service. The bartenders are very friendly and knowledgeable in sports and drinks. I highly recommend at least stopping by if you’re in downtown San Antonio to have a nice cold adult beverage. My wife and I will definitely be back, as we are locals to San Antonio and love to see the great bars like this back again.
