We took my mom out to lunch for Mother's Day to Bistro Mitte and it was a hit. We each got a schnitzel with mushroom gravy, pork for me, chicken for my wife, and veal for my mom. we shared a side dish of kasespätzle. closed with apple strudel. everything was to die for. restaurant was clean and service impeccable. highly recommend to anyone in search of delicious German food at a reasonable price.

Went here for lunch yesterday and were not disappointed. We got a chicken Schnitzel and a pork Schnitzel, one with a side of Bratkartoffeln and the other with red cabbage. The red rabbagw could have been a little hotter, it was just warm as if heated up. The Schnitzels were delicious! There's a patio area for seating and also indoor seating.

This was such a lovely surprise as German restaurants in general in the US are very hit and miss. They can lean towards being a hit over generalized or just bland. We started with a Bavarian pretzel which wasn't large but was adequate for 2 and included 2 fantastic dips (honey dijon mustard and sponging cheese). We also got some half litre german beers on tap both in the matched glassware (as you'd often find overseas). On my main i went with the bratwurst plate which was fantastic and included mashed potatoes, sauerkraut and red cabbage all very excellently done. I wasn't able to finish

Both of us got a blind tasting which was a fun way to try a flight of random wines! The food was fantastic. We immediately got hooked on the artichoke beignets and I wish we ordered about 5 more orders. The shrimp and lobster ravioli was the biggest surprise, it was incredible, and the perfect portion to share! The waiter brought us a tasting of his favorite Cabernet and it was incredible too!
