Exceptional Dining! I visited here on a weekday evening and was blown away. The atmosphere was calm and intimate, but the food and service were truly world-class. Every course was a hit—from the fresh, warm bread to the perfectly executed mains and decadent desserts. Their wine list is also seriously impressive and worth a look! What really made the night was the service. The staff is incredibly warm and professional; they truly go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. this is a review for the christmas pre fixe dinner. we are locals who were looking to have a fun dinner. we’ve been to the grant grill for cocktails and snacks in the past, and it was excellent. to make a reservation we had to put a hold for the pre fixe through open table, which would lead you to assume that’s what the deal is for dinner. it was disappointing from the get go as we were given just a wine list, and nothing else, and when I tried to ask if the regular bar menu was also available, there seemed to be a push to choose from the wine list. the portions were very small and some dis

I was out with a friend to see Les Miserable and went to the Grant Grill for dinner on a Friday night. The atmosphere was delightful and I was so excited to have a delicious meal. It began with what they called home made focaccia. The texture was fluffy and spongy like a white bread. Not what I was used to in a focaccia. We have been coming to the Grant Grill at the US Grant hotel for years, usually when attending an event at the Civic Theater. The grill has always been exceptional, until now. In addition, we arrived a bit early and were told that there were other reservations ahead of us and that we could wait in the bar and someone would notify us. Our reservation time came and went, no one came and we had to track someone down to be seated. We made a reservation, but we’re seated at the back by the kitchen door (very noisy and annoying).
