Steven J★★The roast duck was extremely disappointing. It didn’t taste fresh at all, and the meat had almost no flavor—it felt like it hadn’t been properly marinated. The five-spice seasoning was barely noticeable, so the duck tasted bland and flat instead of rich and aromatic. The overall texture and taste were just bad. Honestly, it was one of the worst roast duck dishes I’ve had. I would not recommend it.
Lyndy★★★★★We love this no frill HK BBQ cafe. The auntie that works here makes you feel right at home, including the home-y flavors. The food is not over-seasoned or heavy on MSG. We thoroughly enjoyed the roast duck here, light and moist. Additionally, everything is well-priced so we look forward to trying more dishes next time. Oh, and like all good Asian hosts, they bring you freshly cut fruit at the end of your meal!
C L★Disappointed. Found a hair when almost done eating, which is definitely ruined everything. The stir fry rice noodles is mediocre at best, and it supposed to be a very common Cantonese dish. The soy sauce combination tastes fine until I see the hair. BTW I like the soy beans idea (prevent food dipping in the sauce for too long and enhance the flavor at the same time) but with the price paid, it feels a little cheesy. I rarely rate a restaurant with only one try, but finding hair in food is definitely a stop sign. Parking and the interior decor might be the best/strongest suit about this plac
