On my birthday, I ordered a three-leche cake for $55. However, the cake was of poor quality and taste. It was excessively dry, lacking the characteristic sweetness of the three-leche flavor. The taste was an unpleasant combination of sweet and sour. I have never encountered a cake with such a poor appearance and taste for its high price. I will definitely stop shopping at this store. However, if you’re looking for a cake for a special occasion, don’t bother coming here.

Update: we've been to 3 locations of this bakery and this location is worth the drive. We think it's the actual bakery that distributed to other locations. The best Mexican pastries we’ve ever had! We love to sample Mexican bakeries in San Diego and Austin and these are the best we’ve ever had! Everything we got was great! Our favorties were the round with cream cheese in the middle and the twist with Cherry. Half dozen was a little over $13. Nice and clean with friendly service. Excellent boxes. Nice outdoor seating if you want to eat there. Very clean bakery. We will be back to more of thei

Went to this place for brunch, and everything was tasty. It's a bit small inside, but they have a small sitting area to eat in. They have a good variety of breads and pastries, and it looks like they keep the bakery well stocked.

Came down to Carlsbad for the beach and there is no Mexican Pandarias in the coast so found this little gem in San Marcos. Only took 15 minutes of cruising through the neighborhood. And this place has the some of the best Pan and Pastel. Even better than places in SD. We took home some Bolillos and they were so fluffy. Also Loved all the options of Cakes. Got a chocolate mousse, strawberry mousse & mocha tres leches.
