Wooooow! This was easily the best fried catfish I have ever had. The breading was seasoned to perfection and had that ideal, light-yet-shatteringly-crisp crunch that didn't feel greasy at all. On the inside, the fish was incredibly fresh, flaky, and moist. The gumbo was another standout—rich, deeply flavorful, and loaded with the good stuff. My only regret is that I didn't eat it right then and there while it was fresh, though even as leftovers, it was better than most places' main course. Ive been going to bayseas since their converse location. Every location including this one you'll find wonderful people and delicious food at a fair price. They offer military discount as well. Kim waited on my husband and I and was a delightful woman. The food is so flavorful and always fresh. Wide range of menu options and plenty of seating. If you're thinking about coming here just know you'll leave full and satisfied.

Wonderful service. Mouth watering food. And speedy service! Stopped in for lunch and I'm glad we did! Im a Bayseas Gumbo fan myself, but this day I enjoyed the catfish and shrimp special with coleslaw and onion rings. I was impressed with the service everyone was polite and personable. I was also very happy when the server brought a reasonably sized water pitcher and left it at the table. The amount of food fed me for lunch and dinner.
