I would give more than 5 stars if I could This restaurant will blow you away. From the moment we walked in we were greeted with the smiles behind the food counter. Daniela our bilingual server, took time to explain the menu option. We started off with coffee, when the food came out it took me a moment to accept that this food was fit for kings and huge portions. My husband and his co-worker stumbled upon this little gem a few days ago. He raves about it and came back the next day. He brought home some delicious pastries and he told me he wanted to take me there for dinner. The empanadas were nice and hot. I had the chicken with peppers, yellow rice and fried plantains. I’m from NY so you already know I’m judging food a little bit different. When I first moved here I was a constant customer at international deli and then the food there just started going down so I was scared to try another Spanish spot but I ended up with some promo credit and decided to try it at this place worse case if the food was bad I wouldn’t lose any money. Wow did this place blow my mind. I took a terrible photo of my salad but it was fit for a king, served right to me, and clearly made fresh. The blackberry drink I got was amazing. A lot of the menu is not primarily English, and the cashier helped me figure my way thru the menu, which was definitely worth the wait. The seating was solid wood tables with nice chairs, the atmosphere was just the right amount of laid back. If I could give this 6 stars I would.
