This right here? A late breakfast that had no business being this good. 😮‍🔥 Stopped by Sunny Side at Lexington Market and ordered “No Sunshine When She’s Gone”… and baby, there was PLENTY of sunshine on that plate. ☀️ The honey cajun catfish was fried to perfection—crispy, flaky, and sitting on top of creamy mascarpone cheddar grits that were rich without being too heavy. That house honey cajun blend? Sweet, savory, with just enough kick to keep you locked in. Then the Hawt Honey Chic Egg & Cheese… yeah, that name alone should’ve warned me. I was in Baltimore visiting and was looking for a breakfast spot. I went on TikTok and Sunny Side Cafe was mentioned. So, I decided to give them a try. I had the salmon/sausage (it’s mixed together like a salmon cake), egg, & cheese croissant. It was good; nice size and I didn’t eat it all. I also had the mango lemonade. I ate my food there. They have a counter with about six chairs for the customers. The staff was friendly. The location is inside Lexington Market on the first floor. You have to park in a garage to get into the Market unless you know how to use public transportation.

Sunny side really is the best side! The ‘Salmon Creole Sandwich’ hugged my soul twice, and “I’m Not a Player, I Just Brunch a Lot” was unreal—Cap’n Crunch Berry French toast, scrambled eggs, upgraded to salmon sausage…all perfection. Visiting Baltimore for a long weekend and loved it so much we came here twice. Super welcoming staff front and back of house. This place is a must-visit.

Yall I feel like these people played on my face. The service wasn’t necessarily bad but I wasn’t greeted when I walked up and was staring at the menu and the cashier was chatting with two other guys who were sitting in the chairs at the stall. No problem. I go to order their waffles platter. The menue has about 3/4 different flavor options and the cashier didn’t ask me for any particular one. Just rang in the normal plain waffle which again… was fine. But when I went to pay this man said $27 AMERICAN DOLLARS. Yall it’s breakfast food. Literally breakfast food. Nothing special. Waffles, eggs/c
