My wife and I were traveling through the area and decided to stop in because the name sounded cool—we were right! The dog-themed artwork throughout the cafe is such a fun touch and gives the place a great vibe. The sandwich menu is absolutely out of this world. I had the New York Yankee, and while I’m not a fan of the baseball team, I am now a huge fan of that sandwich! We also tried the 'dog collar' onion rings, which were clearly homemade and perfectly crispy. The service was fast and friendly, and the food was excellent across the board. It’s a great local find, and I would definitely stop

Great place with a great atmosphere. The menu is huge with so many options. I decided to ask the cashier to narrow it down for me. She helped me figure out what I wanted and I ordered a delicious sandwich. The atmosphere is cheerful and energetic. Great place for all ages.

Located on Washington Boulevard in Arlington, Virginia, Lost Dog Cafe has this first time visitor as a repeat customer! For vegetarians and meat-eaters alike, their menu has ample selections and the ability to customize your order makes it even more interesting. The hosts were incredibly gracious and held my take-out order for more than a hour, as I was delayed at the hospital. They offer large portions, so you better be hungry! The food was delicious and I would highly recommend Lost Dog Cafe. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed!
