I try not to be disrespectful when I write reviews but here's the thing... The restaurant was dirty, and it was only lunch time 😞 like 10:30 am. My first review is of the cashier... We stated that we had never been here before, we asked what his favorite thing was, and all we got was a bunch of mumbling... He couldn't recommend anything. We asked, what's your favorite thing? What do most people order? Literally got NOTHING. I think that a lot of restaurants don't take into consideration how annoying most people find that. They sell tacos but I've yet to meet a John. I straight up just love Taco John's. I eat there whenever I can. The workers are very timely, a 3-4 minutes at most for wait time in my experience.. but it's always been very quick. Friendly service.

I ordered the Boss Bowl and requested extra black beans, but my order didn't include them. It was disappointing because I paid for the extra topping and didn't receive it. Attention to customer requests is important, and this experience felt like poor service. I hope they do a better job checking orders in the future.
