Come here for the loving vibes! The moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm welcome in and cheerful, kind employees. They helped us place an order for a different flavor of drinks then we normally would because they were helpful and informative! The owner was there and said hello to every customer. You could tell the owner genuinely cared about her employees which "poured over" (coffee pun intended!) to customers like us! P.S. If it's not too hot, check out the GORGEOUS garden patio out back!!

My wife and I travel quite often and always visit local coffeehouses and Windmill is right up there with the best of them. Great coffee. Americano for myself and a latte for my wife. I’ve been to a lot of coffee shops and this is one of the best surprises. I found myself in an area of town unfamiliar to me in need of a place to rest my laptop and work. The place is perfect for this but their drinks are even better. I enjoyed a homemade unique chai latte first. Then I ventured to try their seasonal Yuzu Matcha Lemonade, where they mix the matcha with an actual Japanese matcha wisk. The drink flavors are fun and different. They have baked noms, breakfast and lunch options. They have a sweet back yard patio for those lovely KC days. I will venture back next time I’m in the area. The staff are amazingly kind and friendly! Check this place out when you are in the Kansas City metro.

Love this place!! Awesome environment- really bright and cozy. Has a free library book collection and some puzzle-type toys for kids. They also do a lot of events for the community- they host a toddler time fun Friday which is how we found this place. Good coffee- I liked the dirty chai! Homemade pop tarts, almond croissants, all the sweets sounded yummy here. The owners were super friendly- they stopped to be sweet to my little boys and me. We will for sure be coming back. Also really conveniently located right across from turner community center and the library, which has a playground! Perfect family morning outing. Highly recommend!
