I love this place. Big portions, delicious food, coco bread is to die for (so soft). Entrees come with cabbage and rice and beans in good portion. One entree can be two meals id you want. When I want less food a pattie or two is the way to go (I have *occasionally* gotten a dry one, but not often enough to keep me from getting them), when I want to treat myself I get a piece of the rum cake. Thats always so delicious, so moist, and also a generous cut. I would eat here all the time if I were walking distance. Staff is generally friendly and efficient.

Negril has really started skimping on the quality and quantity of their food. This is the second time (won’t be a third) that this fish sandwich has had 2 tiny overcooked pieces of fish. I use to brag about this sandwich and suggested it to several people but now it’s very underwhelming.

I’ve been happily supporting this business for longer than I can count. I live in dc now but still place orders weekly with knowing each delivery is 60+min wait, no problem. Last week, I noticed the carrot cake tasted stale or like a plastic container. This week I see why…..the cakes aren’t stored or thrown out properly. The cake I ordered yesterday is moldy. I’m not sure how much I’ve already eaten. I’m disappointed but not mad because my heart has been telling me to just eat at home from now on. For this to have been uber eats the presentation, the amount of food, and the taste were all five stars! Probably the best Caribbean I’ve had in Maryland and now I don’t have to drive all the way to Jerk at Nite in DC. We ordered beef patties, curry chicken and curry goat. Meat was tender. The sauce and cabbage were flavorful. They even packaged the curry chicken sauce in a separate container.
